About Us
The Friends of Preston Tower is a group of local volunteers committed to the preservation, protection and promotion of Preston Tower and Doocot in Prestonpans, East Lothian.
Working with the site owners, the National Trust for Scotland, and site managers, East Lothian Council, we care for this remarkable scheduled monument and open it regularly for public open days and small group tours.

We organise open days and community events that invite visitors to experience the history of Preston Tower firsthand. Each event aims to educate and inspire, showcasing the stories that define the heritage of this wonderful place.

Schools Outreach
We are currently working with a graphic designer to create an activities pack for young explorers to the site. If you are a school teacher and would be interested in bringing your class to for a visit do get in touch.
